GET INVOLVED

At Red Squirrel OT CIC, we believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, specialist support especially when facing complex challenges like hoarding. As a Community Interest Company (CIC) we operate with purpose over profit. This means all income is reinvested into helping more people and improving the lives of individuals and families affected by hoarding.

What is a CIC ?

A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a special type of social enterprise designed to serve the community. It's a legal structure  that ensures any surplus income is used to benefit those we support rather than shareholders. Being a CIC keeps our focus where it belongs - on delivering accessible, equitable and Impactful services.

WHY WE STARTED

Red Squirrel OT CIC was founded by our Director, Brigitte, a working Occupational Therapist.  Through her professional and personal experience of hoarding she found the care wasn't there.   Driven by the need to  improve their health and wellbeing, she set out to make holistic trauma-informed support more widely available, through providing an occupational therapy service that empower people to live safer, more connected and fulfilling lives.
